Hello David Not to sure if I really understand your problem or what you have (or have not) managed to do already, but here is what I think your "description" wants you to do: Use "UDT A" and reference it as a "STAT" variable in your FB. If so, the variables that you declaredinyour "UDT A"will be located in the Instance DB that belongs to yourFB. Bear in mind that a UDT by itself is simply a "template"(or call it a defined structure of variables) and can be usedreally in all places where you can use variables (e.g. in a DB, a STAT declaration of an FB, as TEMP variables, IN, OUT or INOUT parameters etc.).
