Dear all, I am working on a probe development project at the moment. One area of probing we are investigating is how to speed up probing time. To fully understand the behaviour of our probing system I would like to find out the "scan time" of the machine controller. In the Renishaw white paper TE412 (attached), this is defined as the time it takes the machine controller to check through its inputs for any signals that it will need to act on. One of these inputs will be the probe trigger signal receiver. Does anybody know how I can find out the total scan time for an 840D controller? Any information provided on this is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance, Jon AttachmentTE412_one-touch_vs_two-touch_probing_strategies.pdf (68 Downloads) |
