I am a novice atthisbut thought I would try this as a project. However Iam having some issues. Can anyone help? Please explain in"beginners" fashion!! I created a new FB212. In the first network I havean input from the MCP I4.0 to makea local output marker #PWORDCOIL go high. In the second network I am trying to use this marker to insert the SUNRISE password via a local variable input STRING[8] called #PW. Like so - CALL "PI_SERV", DB200 Req:="PW_DB".PWORDCOIL PIService:="PI".LOGIN Unit:=1 Addr1:=DB300.DBX0.0 DB300 is the instance DB of this FB212. This sits okay with no errors when downloaded to the machine tool. When I try to call this FB from OB1 I am getting the red error messages in the relevant attachment. I think the variables match what is requested but I can not get it to work. I have also attached my local variable workings. HELP? Thanks in advance, Craig.
