Mill Speed Control Card

AutoGen_563137 Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	I have an S5 155U PLC , in this PLC there are a special module made by Danelli Automation called RSC751 which is connected via a serial interface with a programming PC and it has its own inputs and outputs. These special cards are installed in the central rack of my S5 155U PLC. My problem is I am in charge of migrating this PLC system to S7 and I dont have any information about these cards and how it is programmed in the old S5 Program. I need to know more about the programming for these cards and if there is any manuals for it. I attached a photo for these special cards Attachment D:\IMG-20130611-00692.jpg (437 Downloads)

I attached a photo for these special cards Hello I am assuming since you are lokking for a mill speed control you are looking for Danieli Automation out of Italy (www.danieli.com). I have worked on some of their S5 Machine PLC Programs in the past,(15+Years)but have not come across this paticular card. They may be able to provide you a maual or assistance. Regards / m.f.g

From them you can receive details for sure! But as you are planning to migrate it - if I were in your place would check electrical drawing and directly will select corresponding card in S7-400. Most probably that card read/write faster or collecting some 'special' signals for which DA preffered to use their developed card. At the moment I am using siumilar cards (also CPUs) from DA... May i ask if you don't need these cards anymore ? we can switch asked parts if you want or you cam sell them to me .
