Dear Expert, I had Migrated a backup from wincc V7.0 sp3 to V7.3 SE to V8.0. The system running ok continuously for more than 48 hours. Now I check the trends, when I scroll trends to previous time like 2-3 hours before , then I see trend is ramp up or ramp down with straight line for around some random minutes. It looks like at that time the process values was gone down or up by ramping. But now if I Zoom that ramped area then after zooming, trend corrects automatically, all the trends values are running okay and that ramp disappear. The problem is the trends should be not ramp if values is coming properly, this confuses the SCADA Operator that there was some problem occured in previous time but actually it was not. My Total Tag Logging Tags are less than 50. I had also recreated tag logging tags and checked but the problem not resolved. I am attaching the picture of trend and a small video, Kindly check. Hi! It seems that, according to the video, the data is in the database. Try updating to the latest available version of WinCC V8 and regenerate the DFC file. |

Thanks for reply. Now, I have installed update 4 of Wincc v8.0, and followed the steps for DCF files removal as per the link. I have also duplicated the project with project duplicator and checked DCF files as per link, and running this new duplicated backup. But problem is still there, what I observed that when I use "move trend range" option from the toolbar and move it fast to see the previous data, then this ramp is occurring. if I use "move trend range" option from the toolbar and move it slow to see the previous data, then the trend is okay (no ramp is there). If I use the previous data record (left arrow) option in the toolbar and check the data then also it is working ok, all the data is coming properly. so, the Conclusion i found is the data from the database is not able to load fast in the trend as i move it fast. I have attached the videos, you can check. But this problem is not coming in their old system as this is migrated backup from wincc v7.0 I also checked the backup by running it in Wincc v7.3 and it was working ok. My Current system is totally new fresh PC, with i7 processor, Windows 10 LTSC, SSD Storage and 16 GB RAM. with software wincc v8.0 update 4, SImatic Net V18. The problem is that the SCADA Operator, who is using the old system from past 8-10 years, is not ready to move the trend slowly in the new upagraded system.
