CPU226 RTC Values Zero

Shebi87 Bronze Member Joined: 10/22/2011 Last visit: 9/26/2024 Posts: 299 Rating: (1)	Hello Everyone, I have a new CPU226. I am trying to use RTC. when I read RTC, it shows all values zero and if I set RTC then it remains unchanged and all values of RTC are zero. Any suggestions Please Thanks

Both have switches to indicate the type of sensor the module will read. See the S7-200 manual: https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/us/en/view/1109582 on page 441 you will find the position of the DILs for the thermocouples and on page 445 for the RTD module. There you can also see how the wiring is done

Here you can find some possible cause of the zero value. In addition, I also advise you to check the wiring of the modules as sometimes they can also produce these problems.
