ya i run it and it's very gr8 thnx so much ,i didn't use any area pointer in my program cus i assume that the data will exchange between the pc and the PLC without configuring any thing!!1am i right in this?
in what cases i shall use "read continously"????

normaly you use a area pointer for this function.
But i have a nother idea.
You can use a tag which toggle from the PLC. For example. You use the "Clock memory" from the PLC. (Object Propertiesfrom the PLC -> Cycle/Clock Memory => Info about that you will find it in the online help)
This Tag use in the Panel! so every change of this value, the script will be executed.

Normaly, a value of a tag on the panel will be updated, if the picture with the tag will be show on, so if you want that the value from a tag should every time be updated, then you use the parameter "Read Continously". But notes. If you use many tagswith " read continously" then the communication will be heavily used.
