Wincc and Acces working with STRINGS via ODBC

Alfonso Posts: 8 Rating: (0)	Hi, I've a problem transfering data to an access database via ODBC. The problem is only with STRING data type. I don't have problems with numerics. There is an example in the Wincc Help but not with strings. How could I do it? Thanks in advance, Alfonso

The Connectivity Pack is only needed if you are transferring WinCC historical data. Can you post your script here ? It could be simply a syntax error. What error do you get. One thing to mention is that string valuesmust be enclosed in double quotes. Regards, Salma
