ACTIVE HOMING MODE 3 , by s7-1200

farshid BG Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	hi there I'm controling the motion of robot by PLC 1214c dc/dc/dc. the robot is moved via driver and stepper motor. there are 3 sensors , two sensor at two ends of track and one sensor is lied at middle which is the home pisition, on robot track in which two ends are acting as low and high limit switches. I have configured and referenced the limit switches on 'technology object > POSITIONING' and also enabled the raise/falling edge for each limit switch on DEVICE MANAGMENT > DI (DIGITAL INPUTD). my program is so simple as 'ACTIVE HOME MODE 3' will discover the home position automatically. the mc-power and home instruction have been hired but once I run the program, the axis ain't released and error occures. the error says ' the raise edge address is invalid ' but i couldn't figure out what it means. by the way, the only action i did on channel was to ENABLE the raise/ falling egde detection and i didn't add any hardwere interrupt. meanwhile, the diagnostic section mentions the configuration error but I couldn't find out any clue

The parameters of the modules and the defined variables should have the same data type. See also the diagnostic FAQ with the function GET_DIAG. William_B Posts: 5225 Rating: (1195)	Hi-ya, Please look at my answer at.. /tf/WW/en/Posts/96809#514475 I think there is a double configuration of the inputs being used. If inputs are reserved by the axis setup, there is no need to reserve those same inputs for edge triggered actions. Maybe this is the problem. It will help if we knew more about your system configuration (PLC type & version, TIA version & SP, Windows). I hope this leads to finding a solution for you. G-Luck. w
