I am working with RF180C, RF310R, RF340T and PLC S7-1511-1PN.

I am using the comand read and I set it as show in the photo. When I run the program I get the error 0xE7FE04 

I look for the error and found the following

The receive data buffer (RXBUF) or the send data buffer (TXBUF) is too small, the buffer created at TXBUF/RXBUF does not have the correct data types or the parameter "LEN_DATA" as a negative value.

Possible cause / action to be taken:

• Check whether the buffers TXBUF/RXBUF are at least as large as specified in LEN_DATA.

• for S7-1200/1500:

– In the Ident profile, only an "Array of Byte" may be created for TXBUF and RXBUF.

– In the "Tag_Status" and "Reader_Status" block, only an "Array of Byte" or the corresponding data types ("IID_TAG_STATUS_XX_XXX" or "IID_READER_STATUS_XX_XXX") may be created

Did you try to increment the dimension of those buffers ?

A colleague of mine had a similar problem and incremented them untile that error disappeared

I believe I had a similar problem. You can check for a recent post of mine about the same error code on the read command. What information are you trying to get from the read?

If you are trying to access user memory, you should use ADDR TAG 0 that will be the first position on the user memory. From what I can tell this points to the index of the User Memory.

For LEN_DATA if you are trying to read the entire user memory it is 8 bytes.

If your EPC is not 124 characters the 62 in LEN ID will give you problems.

LEN_ID is half of the number of characters in your EPC. It is produced as a byte containing two Hex nibbles.

Is your EPC_UID tied to an Array [1..62] of Byte? Static_1 should be such an array.

The last problem that I see is the IDENT_DATA setting. That should be DataBlock3.Static_1 where DataBlock3.Static_1 is an Array[1..8] of Byte. As it is with DataBlock3.Static_1[1] you are trying to write an 8 Byte buffer to a 1 Byte member of an array. 

The command you are using is trying to read a given EPC and write the User Mem to the IDENT_DATA array.

The problem is resulted , attached one photograph of the result.

Now I have the following question. The value of the Tag is stored in the db IDENT_DATA I call lectura, but when I go to look at this all data is in 00 other image attached .

What are you expecting to see in the buffer? Can you use the Primary Setup Tool to read your transponder and check the User Memory?

I looked at a virgin tag (Smartrac Dogbone) and the User Memory is set to all 0's. Perhaps you are getting the results which you want. If you know the User Mem to be something else then you do have a problem. You can use the PST to launch a web tool which will let you edit the transponder. This way you can write whatever you like. 

A little more info might help.
