Hi . I try to configure on single UID read action to my S7-1214C  but nothing work and i can't obtein HW_Connect parameter.

I have install RF260R module, connect it to Port 1 of SM1278 IO_Link module. After, i have load S7-PCT through TIA Portal 15.1 (Right click on SM1278 module and select "Start device Tool"). In S7-PCT, i have select RF260R module in catalog and drag and drop it to array Port at Port 1. I have upload  SM1278 and RF260R to module. And i have made test to read UID value and i read it.

But when i leave S7-PCT and go back to TIA Portal, nothing is modified in SM1278 properties. Port 1 datas are always greyed. And when i try to add "SIMATIC Ident Technologic Object" i can't find any RF260R module in configuration selector.

What's wrong ? I have look for that in siemens web site but don't find pertinant information or example to juste this simple configuration S7-1200&SM1278&RFXXX.

Thanks for your reply. I have take look to examples but don't find solution to them.

Actually my major problem is about  HW_CONNECT parameter. Normally this parameter have a "IID_HW_CONNECT " type, and i have creat DB with this type and put all this parameters with values (HW_ID = 16#110 ,CM_CHANNEL = 1,LADDR = 20 and let the others with default values).

But when i compile i obtain one error who said than IID_HW_CONNECT parameter not correspond to "TO_IDENT" parameter format. And i don't understand Why?

TO_IDENT seem refer to technologic Object, that why i have try to creat one than refer to my SM1278, but without success.

Nota; HW_ID = 16#110 refer to 272 value who are define like HW ID to SM1278 module when i have install it in  TIA.

I want make one remark about your previous proposition of

Like i  working with TIA V15.1 version and Library is in V14, i need automaticaly upgrade it when i install it in TIA. After installation, i have try to test LRfidOL_Read function. But when i compile them, i meet one error who said something like: " Invalid call because interface was modify since last time."

and it's why i can't use this library.

Any suggestion?
