Connectivity Pack Client OLE DB Process Values Missing

matterr Member Joined: 5/10/2017 Last visit: 5/26/2023 Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	Dear Forum, I'm using WinCC Connectivity Pack Client (7.5 SP1) OLE DB Provider to access Tag Logging Process Values. Like TAG:R,633,'2020-08-13 06:14:10.000','2020-08-13 12:07:20.000','TIMESTEP=10,1' I'm facing a problem that latest process values are not retrieved. When I use the VB Sample shipped with the connectivity pack, only records are returned until the last time archived in the [XXX#WINCCSERVERAPP_TLG_F_202008122200].[dbo].[TagCompressed] archive. But the latest values until the current timestamp (now) are not returned. In contrary when I use the stored procedure [dbo].[CC_SP_ReadTags] I get all values until current timestamp (every time I execute latest values are added). From which database/table are latest values queried - as I cannot find in the TLG_F/TLG_S archives?! Can it be a compatibility issue, as ConPack is 7.5 and the WinCC I'm querying is Version 6.2? Or a problem of permissions?

See compatibility tool https://support.industry.siemens.com/kompatool/pages/main/index.jsf?sitc=wwdfi10002 For WinCC V6.2 you need to use WinCC/Connectivity Pack V6.2. The newest values are stored in a file before they are stored in compressed binary values in the databasesegments. But the WinCC OLE DB Provider would usually deliver these values too. It may be a question of incompatibility. Regards Georg Berghof
