Hello. You are very focussed on the idea that the origin of your problem is the HMI. Is there any specific reason why you think this? If you have good reason, then best you contact Siemens. Use the "Support Request" link. I can put some reasonable doubt against the idea that the HMI is guilty. Is it possible that someone deletes the program deliberately? It is possible to do this from the built-in screen of the LOGO! This function is guarded by a password and only possible if the admin mode is active. The trouble is that the admin mode is active by default on the shipped LOGO! The unit needs to be placed into the operator mode to protect sensitive functions. Shortly: Can anyone access the admin function from the LOGO! in your system currently? Another thing.. use your own passwords for guarding the LOGO! ~ |

That's not a problem while connected with a HMI. As the user qwazee suggests start a Support Request. As I wrote, if the LOGO! lost the program and nobody has deleted the program then is the LOGO! defective. But I never heard of this problem. |
