I think VBA is only for offline configuration, not for reading Runtime Tag Values |

Yes, but I'm not trying to read the value of the tag. I need the Name of the tag that is used in the dynamic dialog. |

It is not possible to access the name of the Tag configured in Dynamic dialog Box. You will only get the Tag Values. Also you can get the Property Name |

SetTagChar("motor_start_cmd",motor_start_cmd_1); The tag "motor_start_cmd" is a text tag 8 bit char set which will contain the name of the tag (As here"RSA_BC_SUMP_MAN_STA") these examples are C-scripts, the question was about VBA and imo that is not possible |

IN VBA you can also show the tag name. If you try you may can do it. |

I feel comfortable with C-Script in WinCC. It allows to get all the information of the object. But then too, I get stuck to reports and accessing the database. |
