HI,

can anyone help me to read data from an encoder ( incremental, rotary, 1024 ) with a 138-4da04-0ab0 module?

i dont know how i must change the parameter to read PID data, is there any special configuration?

I am using a IM 151-1 HF, PM-E ​​24 V, 4 wire encoder and 138-4da04-0ab0 module.

the 1Count24V supports four different modes. Which one you choose depends on the application.

• Counting Modes: For counting continuously, once or periodically.
• Measurement Modes: For measuring frequency, rotation speed or period.
• Position Feedback: For position detection.
• Fast Mode: For position feedback in isochronous cycles.

Therefore, first of all, select the desired mode. Feel free to ask further questions according the selected mode. If you need help for selecting the mode, you have to describe your application in detail.

I am using HTL encoder, when i connected it to module and assigned an address, result is Zero DBD, already change all of modes, counting, fast, measuring and position feedback.

But when i used fast counting, during the running of motor, some values apoear that fluctuated between current value and a big minus value.

I think it means the speed of data sending of encoder is much more than data reading of module.. 

So, my encoder is 300 khz, and 4da04 module is 100 khz 

But i must tell you something about my last correct module that be a 231-1bh20 vipa with 100 khz feature, so i dont know why 100khz of vipa was worked, but 100 khz of siemens not working?

I think maybe there is a special configuration in parameter list of 138-4da04-0ab0, that i dont know about that

But already i was test all of modes with all of signal evaluation A, B

Eather Pulse and Direction, and Rotary Transmitter single...
