Hello there, What are the main advantages of ET200M over ET200S or Vice versa? What are the differences between them? Thanks for your participation in advance. |

More Simply, ET200M is a modular I/O that needs a S-300 PLC to be integrated while ET200S is a Standalone PLC with I/O interface integrated. :) |

Hello Mohsen Arzani; One precision on the ET 200S system: you can select simple IM head modules for Profibus or Profinet interfacing with a separate CPU, or you can select a CPU IM with its own operating system, depending on the requirements of your project. This external site will show you the options, CPU or IM modules: Note that the ET 200S system is now discontinued, available only as spare parts for 10 years. The new distributed IO systems from Siemens include the ET 200MP, the ET 200SP, the ET 200HA... https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ca/en/view/109767411 Hope this helps, Daniel Chartier |
