I have one 8 AI RTD #6ES7134-6JF00-0CA1 with BU type A1 light #6ES7193-6BP40-0DA1. Another one of 8 AI RTD module with BU Type A1 dark #6ES7193-6BP40-0BA1. Do both of them need to be powered separately? I know that light based units of course has to be powered but what about the dark one A1?

For A0 base unit, I know that the light base unit will help to power the rest of the other dark base unit. But what is the case for A1 base unit?

In principle, it's always the same. The system-integrated, self-assembling voltage buses of the light-colored version have no connection to the left, so they form a new potential group. For details, refer to the pin assignment and block diagram of BU type A1, light-colored version and BU type A1, dark-colored version.
