Problem with an AQ and setpoint

Michel 1968 Posts: 11 Rating: (0)	Hi, I am currently struggling with the following issue. An output AQ1 should be 100% if it is BETWEEN a setpoint (counter) and an input value ai3 of a pt100. For example: the setpoint is 20°C, and the measured value is 19°C, then the output AQ1should be 100% BETWEEN 19 and 20. If the value is 19, 18,17, etc., OR 20, 21, 22, etc., then AQ1 should be set to 0. Would someone help me with this? Kind regards Michel

If the setpoint is 20 (from a counter) and the current temperature value is 19, where is there a hysteresis? With integers and a difference of 1 between two integers you have no hysteresis.

Michel 1968 Posts: 11 Rating: (0)	What I want to do is to address a logo issue where I have one output missing, but I have one spare Analog Quantity (0-10v). I want to use this to control an LED light that indicates when the correct temperature is reached. The machine in question is a cooler with a glycol circulation bath that can also heat. Therefore, I need to be able to work both in negative and positive temperature ranges (-20 to +30). The cooling compressor runs continuously and then heats up with a resistor to reach the correct temperature. This allows us to control the desired temperature quite accurately, currently within a one-degree margin. Now, I only want the LED light to be on when the temperature is precisely correct. I cannot work with the compressor as it runs continuously, and I cannot work with the resistor since it is only activated for heating. Hence, my question is how to work between the measured value and the setpoint.
