Hello gentlemen

I need help to generate a runtime on an IPC477E with a project created from TIA Portal v19 Professional. When I try to run the project's .FWC file, WinCC v19 does not recognize it. Could you help me or guide me on how I can solve this problem?

A FWC file is a compilation of the RT Advanced project. Do you have RT Advanced installed on the IPC?

For RT Professional, the file extension is MCX. Please see the FAQ below if this is your case:

If I already have the advanced runtime v16 and v17 installed but when I start the .fcw file it tells me that it is not compatible and of course because it is in v19, I also have the professional runtime, and it asks me how to comment the mcx and when trying to use the "download to file system" option it does not appear in my Tia portal v19 project

There are no V18 and V19 versions of RT Advanced, as V17 was the last version released for RT Advanced software with no changes in the new versions.

I understand then that you have a FWC file but RT Advanced V17 does not recognize it to start the Runtime project. Please share with us a screenshot of the error you get and the version of RT Advanced actually installed (you can see it in “Programs and features” of Windows).
