Displaying Decimal Numbers in I/O Field

The I/O field is associated with a PLC tag with the data type 'Real.' I am using NormX and ScaleX to convert a 0-10V input to a 0-50.0 real value on this tag. The problem is that I am only seeing whole numbers on the IO field, whereas I want it to show real numbers with a decimal point, so that the weight can be seen precisely by the operator. I tried the decimal setting in the IO field properties, but it instead scaled the number down. For example, 50 became 5.0. I don't know why. How do I make it show a real number with a decimal point?
