My setup involves an S7 300 PLC with a Communication Module CP 342 connected to a Wago 750-303 fieldbus coupler. Refer the attached pictures for setup and the error for reference. I've already tried checking the PG/PC interface settings, verifying the cable connections, and restarting the PLC. I'm wondering if anyone has encountered a similar issue before, particularly with this combination of hardware (S7 300, CP 342-5, and Wago fieldbus Coupler). Any insights or suggestions on how to resolve this would be greatly appreciated. Specifically, I'm looking for advice on: 1. Possible causes of this error. 2. Recommended troubleshooting steps. 3. ChristophD Grandmaster Joined: 5/12/2006 Last visit: 9/2/2025 Posts: 22709 Rating: (3071)	this message mean that step7 do not know this specific PLC can you create a new project and check if you can offline create this cpu in HWConfig? Which step7 version and OS Version do you use?
