I have an existing line that I recently needed to diagnose an intermittent comms issue. I found that the diagnostics buffer gets a new entry every 6 minutes from two devices. The network is quite large, but I am not losing communications to anything since I found my intermittent problem. I am just trying to solve and remedy the issue of getting an entry every 6 minutes for these two devices. So the diag buffer is overflowed every ~25 hours with these messages making it not useful to see what has happened in the past.

The PLC is a 317-2 PN/DP. The network has 27 ET-200 IO Racks, 17 Masterdrives, 8 Servo drives, 8 Stepper motors, and 2 encoders. The encoders are the devices that give the "Module OK" event ID 16# 3842 every 6 minutes. All 500 entries are this same event from those two encoders. It's not like it is losing comms every time and then sending the module OK message. Only getting the module OK message every 6 minutes from both. The encoders are both Hengstler Acuro.
