This report can be in PDF format, CSV format or any other file format which can be easy readable. 1st. solution - using PDF file for report - So, I tried to use Report function from WinCC (pushbutton with added event "PrintReport") and use some PrintToPDF software. I didnt find any software which I can use on my TP1900 comfort (Windows 8 CE operating system). I tried also with Siemens officialy recomended solution through Prosave (TIA portal v17) and "prosavе_opt_1_4_0_0" file and after click to "HMI Device maintenance/Options" load start without any question or checking what to load in HMI, and on HMI screen in "Printer setup" menu, I dont have any new printer options. Like nothing changes with loading... 2nd. solution - using csv file for report - I tried to make Historical Data, datalogs and logging tags ...as a result HMi create datalog file but without filled data inside... some information from net guide me to make VisualBasic script in order to get a process wich will ensure that data will be writen in this file... I didnt create script yet, because I can't believe that you must create script to have simple logging. As a remember long time ago I made some logging but without any script. So my question for you is: If someone of you made some kind of report (PDF, Csv or any other) on your TP1900 or on some other similar HMI device please explain here how to do it. Please without AI generated response because I can do the same by myself.... Thanks in advance

Murof Platinum Expert Joined: 8/3/2009 Last visit: 9/12/2025 Posts: 16409 Rating: (1935)	Hello gaspar1 first to the PDF creation, it is possible to install a PDF printer on the Comfort Panels and this also works (I used it many times): https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/de/en/view/58205602 you have two options to create some kind of datalogging to csv File: 1.) use the build in datalogging: https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/de/en/view/109746939 you do not need scripts or anything special, you can just set everything in the TIA project. There is also a systemfunction for creating a copy of the logfiles if needed. 2.) If the datalogging do not fit your requirements you can also create own textbased files with scripts: https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/59604194 Of course you would habe to create the scripts by yourself and also you have to be careful with performance if this kind of scripts run too often or too fast...But it is fully custom Bye Murof
