Interrupt based on DP cycle

Siemens_MI Posts: 11 Rating: (0)	I am working on a machine that has an all-Profibus interface (there are no direct input cards.) The way I understand that Profibus works, the master (in this case, the PLC) queriesall the slaves sequentially and in the process, updates its IO image. I am interested in the possibility of using OB61 to execute the main machine control. Is there a way (or an example) of delaying the next DP scan until the machine logic has executed? That is: - finish the DP cycle (input signal states will befresh) - execute the machine logic - start the DP cycle again (computed output states will be fresh) That way, the machine logic would not be in sequence with the DP cycle.
