The MLFBs for communication modules: http://siemens.siprotec.de/download_neu/devices/1_General/Doku_Protokolle/Ordering%20information%20for%20communication%20modules_20121030.pdf The hardware is new, you cannot simply upgrade from the older modules. The new functionalities of this module you can use with newer Digsi and Device driver versions. Mike

I could update parameter sets of device with firmware version 4.62 to 4.72 and the PRP capability added to the device. I think firmware of the hardware could be updated! Thanks

In the attached picture you can see the different types of EN100. If you can now have PRP, probably your card is a EN100-O with LC connector, but it is still an EN100-O, without "+" Mike Attachment EN100.jpg (550 Downloads)

This device with this firmware version just has line mode. I update this device to7SJ802 V4.7 and, Voila! Redanduncy tab add to the interface section and I could choose between PRP and Line mode. Thanks again...

In Digsi you can do whatever you want, but the device will not (should not) accept the download. The old electrical EN100 modul is a very simple one. It doesn't support RSTP, PRP or HSR, as you can see in the table I sent. If you need PRP, you must buy the new EN100-E+ Mike
