TM 1703 ACP with Profibus-DP master convert to IEC -104

HSIEH Posts: 7 Rating: (0)	Hello , Can any one help me!! Please. I have project want to read/write data from cpu 315-2dp with TM-1703 via profibus-DP. and then convert data to IEC-104 to SCADA. The question is I can't transmit measure data from PLC to SCADA. After some work, I realized that the SCADA only accept IEC 104 type TI 9 for measure value, and there is no TI 34 available in TI type in DPM00/rec_values. Can any one help me!! Please.

If so, you could consider using IEC-104 library of right there in the S7 system itself. You don't need a SICAM-TM. You will just need to add an Ethernet CP to the S7 rack or use CPU 315-2 PN/DP instead of CPU 315-2DP Check out : SIPLUS RIC It supports almost all function types of IEC-104. HSIEH Posts: 7 Rating: (0)	Dear Navang , In fact that My project is not just convert S7 PLC to IEC 104 , This TM will convert S7 PLC to Sinaut 8FW too . The part of Sinaut 8FW is working well. The part of IEC 104 is only measure values still not work. As I try to explan before that I have tested DPM00/rec_value can only work with "Measured value, scaled value (TI 35)". Thanks for your help , May be you can give me another ideal about how to do with TM. Thanks again. winson hsieh

However TI 9 is without Time Tag while TI 34 is Time Tagged Msg. What SCADA are you using ? Normally all the SCADA should have a provision to select betweentime tagged(TI 34 ) or non Time Tagged Msg ( TI 9 ). Cheers Navnag

HSIEH Posts: 7 Rating: (0)	Dear Navnag, Sorry for my error typing of yor name! The SCADA is useing TI9 not TI 34, I tested with another sofeware for sure. According to document of TM 1703, TI 34 can change to TI 9 & TI 10 by some parameter adjustment. " The following table shows the type identifications of the supported messages. For messages over the communication routes, it can be set, whether they are transmitted with 3 or 7 octet (Parameter Communication \| PRE# \| IEC60870-5-101/104 \| Variable elements of the message \| Time stamp) or without time stamp (parameter group Communication \| PRE# \| IEC60870-5-101/104 \| Transmission with/without *timetag \| ). The messages within the automation unit always have a time stamp with 7 octets."** The question here is no TI 34 in TI type of DPM00/ Rec_valuesavailable.I would like to know some way ( and wish a easy way) to do it.
