SINUMERIK 840D NCU-BOX 13A (1P 6FC5247-0AA00-0AA2);PCU50; Win 4.0 NT Maybe someofyou know some tips and tricks about the set up procedures, parameters,HMIetc. which could be useful?

nulizhang Platinum Expert Joined: 10/17/2007 Last visit: 1/14/2026 Posts: 4574 Rating: (416)	,hi, for changing 840D NCU you should not with power on.you must turn off power. you didn,t say why NCU should be replaced, if it was not defective you should back up data before changing. If back up was not possible, after changing, try to make communicate NCU<-->PCU. and then if you are lucky you can find in"Services"-->Archive dir. back-uped data for NC and PLC, load them you machine will run. good luck!
