I am going to instal a logo 8 with a KP300 mon basic screen what i want toknow is how far in cable lenghh i can go between logo and screen as i could be around the 50m mark.

and if i am to make my own lead and plugs what are the connection of the hmi lead.

Logo having the ethernet protocol so standard for ethernet cable length is 100 meters

Yes, you need a patch cable, not cross-over cable.
