With the LOGO! 0BA8 you can log with the given board means in 3 kinds data.

1. With your own DataLog without SD card.
   Then max. 512 bytes are logged. If the number is exceeded, the oldest entry is deleted to create space for a new one (FIFO principle).
2. With your own DataLog with SD card.
   Here max. 50 log files with 20,000 lines created. If a DataLog file has reached the size of 20,000 lines, the next file is opened.
3. With LOGO! Access Tool.
   The data are logged directly on a PC using Excel. However, every second, this interval can not be changed.

If you don't want any of these possibilities, you have to look for an app or software, which offers you the desired possibilities.
Or program something yourself.

+ Scoll down in this page and you will find the LOGO! Access Tool. This tool is free of Charge.

Once you have stored and unziped, read the Information how to install and use it.

It is a MS Excel Addin and allowes you to read data from LOGO! into a MS Excel CSV file directly.

To record your data use the instruction =LOGOVARL instead of =LOGOVAR. The additional L is for logging.

The tool will record the specified data each second as Long as the Connection to LOGO! is establisched.

A nother possibility is to use the I/O Status (Tool Transfere I/O-Status). All LOGO! I/O can be recorded in a CSV file as long a the I/O-Status is open. But you can only record Standard I/O no VM memory or Parameter.

May I assume that this only works with MS Excel? Should Excel stay open for the duration of the recording?

Or is it possible for using OpenOffice or LibreOffice? Is something available for native Linux and Mac users?
