I think also scaling is the way to view source (0-10v, 4-20mA,........) as Mr. Guppertjegup said.
If u get any other way, then let us know.

As per earlier answers, we can use FC105 to show 4 to 20 ma or 0 to 10 V signal. you can also generate your own function in STEP7, which can give you scaling for any input. Here in STEP7 FC105, you can have input only from 0 to 27648. If your input is 100 to 25000 count, and you want to scale it in 4 to 20 ma, you have to generate your own function.

for that, you please refer a line equation which is passing through (x1, y1) and (x2,y2) two points. that is:

(y-y1)/(x-x1)=(y2-y1)/(x2-x1)

Here, x and y is variable.

relating to your problem:

y is scaled output
xis input to be scaled(i.e. from 100 to 25000 counts)
y1 is 4
y2is 20
x1is 100
x2is 25000

so, for any value of X(i.e. input), you will get y......

Dear Karn,
I am assuming that you want to display to the operator the physical analog value of voltage or current (i.e. 0-10 V or 4-20mA).
In this case you can use also the scaling function.
Here's attached the coresponding values of voltages/ currents with vs. the analog input values.
