XP service Pack 2 problems

Saul Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	Can anyone clear up a problem I am having? I have recently been given the task of creating a back up operatingPC for one of our machines on site. The operatingPC is running on NT with WinCC V5.0 SP2. The Back up PC is running on XP prof with SP2 and WinCC V6.0.1.0. Now the Version5WinCC project has been Migrated to Version 6 and loads up fine. However all data boxes are greyed out and it looks like there are no coms with the Control PLC (S5). I have been told that XP with service pack 2 installed creates problems with WinCC V6. Is this true and if so are there any upgrades I can install?????? Thanks for any help Saul

Danielle Posts: 1275 Rating: (123)	WinCC v6.0 is compatible with WinXP SP2 from service pack 3 on. however, if you have WinCC v6.0 sp1 or 2 you can't run it on WinXP SP2!
