PLC Data Archived in the WinCC

nardymagic Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	Hello everyone, I have a SIMATIC PLC system that acquires some data from the Field. The Acquisition function will check also the validity of each sample (i.e. if the acquired value is inside a pre-defined range). The WinCC will archive the values of a certain number of parameters (with the relevant timestamp). My question is: is it possible to put in the archving records (in addiction to the parameter ID, parameter value and timestamp fields) also a field indicating the above validity? Nemo Posts: 3149 Rating: (171)	Hi, you could use the WinCC option "user archive" for generating archives of your own or the ODK for modifying your Taglogging archives : http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/22578952 if you just generate alarms in WinCC with the corresponding values you could add a value e.g. for valueok, valuebad,... nemo P/S in the WinCC forum your question will find more audience [:)] => the CS moderator will move it to WinCC

The Tag Logging system only records the value id, value, timestamp, quality anda series of system flags. However maybe there is another solution. Why not have WinCC only record values falling between your pre-configured limits. If you go to the properties of an archive tag in the Tag Logging Editor, you can set an upper and lower limit for the tag. Will this suit your needs?
