Can I controll some s7-300 CPU with program writing in C# or some other?

(when the wheel is already invented why do you want to reinvent it again, just use it). There is already a software developed for programming the controllers. With C# i dont think you can do anything with the controller but only the HMI panels.

How can I do that? what I need to do that?? Complete program with C# With C# , you can read and write data its possible. Even I do that only to read and write data only upto DB via OPC. I suggest then you can go for Industrial PC applications. Why to make things complicate if things can be done easily with developed platforms(STEP 7 , PCS 7).

germynator Posts: 28 Rating: (3)	Thank you so much for your answers, I'll try with "libnodave" but I'm affraid that I must use the siemens software, I wanted avoid this because it's quite expensive. I only need connect s7-300 to PC and make only one function turn on and turn off engine.
