I suppose you can only access the unit if it is a PXM20-E with ethernet connection? Can you exchange the PXM20 unit for a PXM20-E unit or are these non-compatible? Does it require other hardware changes? thx ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |

Hello, even PXM20-E can't be accessed via ethernet connection. It is a passive device - BACnet client or alarm display. There will be visible only as device object if you will search on BACnet. If you need to access via webbrowser, then you need another device like PXM30.E or bigger versions 40/50. The exchange of the PXM20 to PXM20-E isn't easily possible, because PXM20 communicating over >>BACnet/LON, but PXM20-E via BACnet/IP. You have to add some extra HW if you need to do that - like PXG3.L (BACnet router btw. LON <-> IP). But PXM20 & PXM20-E is out of sale, so if you don't have them from before, you can't buy them anymore. Then only PXM30/40/50.E is an option for you.
