Hello, I have a problem with running the KNX adapter, the current situation is the following: I have exported the necessary JSON file from the KNX project and was able to run the adapter on my laptop and to establish the communication with IP Interface Secure. However, I also installed KNX adapter on the PC station on the object and also copy the necessary JSON configuration file into "Configuration" folder of the KNX Adapter, but when I try to run KNX Adapter as service on that PC I get the error "ERROR: An active network interface could not be found. Could not automatically retrieve the IP address" I can not solve this problem because I have done everything the same on the two: laptop and PC, but this problems occurs. ALSO NEED TO FIND A WAY TO fix the address of the "Soris driver" (for example "http: 192.168.1.56:8080"), because of the security rules on the network in the building we are working on, we should set this address to an address in the same network segment as our PXC controllers. IMPORTANT: While testing I have just discovered the reason why it was working on the laptop and not on the PC. As you can see in the attachment, when you start KNX ADAPTER as a service, it starts on the wireless adapter - meaning the laptop's wireless adapter assigns the address of the Soris driver (http:192.168.. ...). Since, my laptop has an wifi adapter, KNX adapter can be started with no problem. However, since my PC does not have an wireless adapter, when
you try to run the KNX Adapter you get the error "ERROR: An
active network interface could not be found". I NEED TO SET THE KNX ADAPTER TO RUN OVER ETHERNET CONNECTION, NOT WIRELESS, AND ALSO I NEED TO FIX IT'S IP ADDRESS. HOW MAY I DO THAT ? |
