FM-STEP DRIVE with Stepper Motor ??

Tomy Master Platinum Member Joined: 5/4/2009 Last visit: 1/1/2026 Posts: 916 Rating: (40)	Dear friends, Currently, I am trying to drive a stepper motor of type "1FL3041-0AC31-0BG0" by stepper motor drive of type "6SN1227-2EDI0-0HA0", but it seems like there is a problem, and the problem is that the "OV" and the "LV" leds are "ON" with solid red. I refer to the manual but it showed me that it could be a mains power problem dispite that mains power is OK !!!! Please I need some help. Tomy.

Ekalavya Posts: 2964 Rating: (485)	Hello Tommy, OV menans Overvoltage or motor feedback energy too great....Reduce feedback energy of the motor or dissipate the feedback energy via the intermediate circuit connection. LV- Undervoltage -Adjust the voltage- Check mains voltage and mains connection As you have already checked the incoming supply could check the wire connections and the cable continuity properly which is connected to the FM stepdrive..... Also check the rotary switch settings properly...this need to be setted properly with according to your motor...you have the problem.... Check it out.... Regards, Ekalavya

Luke. I also encountered the same situation, it's been 10 years has anyone solved the problem yet @@ Update: My bad, need to supply 24V power to enable_n pin
