PCS7 Wincc Sync. happens automatically without downloading to Server

arunvt1992 Bronze Member Joined: 10/5/2016 Last visit: 8/10/2025 Posts: 109 Rating: (2)	We have a PCS7 system with AS and redundant Server After some modification done by my collegue ( modified some alarm classes via process object view) then he try to do download changes and it was successful to the standby server but while downloading to duty server it terminated with error. Then I tried full download to standby server(server02) and waited till sync with duty server and then did full download to duty server (server01) and then sync was successful. After around 2 hours suddenly duty server (server02) again started to synchronize automatically and it then came successful which is abnormal as i did not download anything to server during that time But is there any reason that this abnormal behavior happen, Is it better that i load the old backup?

This behaviour did not happen again , but am getting Redundancy loss connection with each of my 3 PLC's many times. I feel there is some network loop issue, hence this is happening.

These alarms are generated from the system generated blocks (You can find them inside the @CFC charts in Chart folder). @CFC charts and there blocks are related to your hardware configuration devices. The predefined time in each blocks for alarm is 15Sec. Try to give the higher time and check once to not to get the alarms frequently. Kindly go through the below link to know about the block I/Os and message texts. Relevant part for your query starts from page number 383 Process Control System PCS 7 Basis Library (V9.0 SP2) Hope it help you!
