We are using Siemens PCS7 V9  at our site. The architecture includes 02 application tag servers, 02 client stations and 1 process historian server. 

Our Process historian server was running fine till last month. Few days back we noticed the data fetching has stopped . Its showing ERROR status. We tried to start the server but its showing STARTING and getting Shut down with ERROR status. We are using SIMATIC Process Historian Version:2014(1400.305.0.57) with Automatic backup enabled.

In the diagnostic event log, repeated message of DELETE UNNEEDED BACKUP FILES CALLED(Process ID:6432) is popping.  Backup drive is showing sufficient free space(96%) as well. STORE and FORWARD component is also not getting Initialized.

Another observation is the server manager event for both application server has events like the primary DB files has exceeded the licensed limit of 10240MB . We tried to allocate some file space by using Auto growth option in SQL server but still Historian is showing error.

Have anybody in the forum have faced these issues ? Please advise how this issue can be resolved.
