I am encountering a persistent non-fatal error when attempting to write a VBScript within the Graphics Designer in WinCC V8.1.

Each time I open the VBScript editor from the Graphics Designer I receive the following error:
"Library not registered."

This also occurs when I write a script invoking a variable or a general call like "HMIRuntime." - instead of getting the expected property suggestions, the error appears immediately.

Interestingly, when I open the VBS Editor for Global Scripts, the error does not occur. In that context, I receive the normal property suggestions as expected.

How would I resolve this issue?

Thank you for the response, I'm using the latest version of WinCC , so K8.1.0.3.
After testing, it appears to be system wide and not project specific. If i make a new test project, i get the same result, So in global VB editor i do not get the error, I only revive it in the Graphics Designer's version of VB editor.

Also if i write code with the correct syntax, I can run the code runs normally. I just keep getting the popup, everytime I enter ".".

To solve this error, I navigated to windows settings and ran the Repair functions on a couple WinCC programs that sounded to me, like they might be in some way associated to this error.
