We made new setup for hands on experience on TDC for fresh engineers. We configured the hardware with UR5213 rack,  two no. of CPU551 and one profibus CP50MO and ethernet CP51M1.

Create a CFC with SER and @ TCP/IP block in first CPU, download the user and system program in TDC through OMNI drive.

When I'm trying to go ONLINE in CFC its shows the error 4222 " Cannot find the communication channel"

While I ping the TDC  through PG I found the connectivity.

Please suggest missing link.

I dont know what kind of interface and setting to choose? what kind of cable and setting of parameter?

1、As you say you can Ping connet to the TDC　Rack via Ethernet, this mean the pyshcial link is no problem.

2、As you  say  you have config the @TCP/IP  and  SER function so the needed function have been well.

3、AS I Know，  @TCP/IP function need in the runtime group     32ms <  T < 256 ms

                            SER needed run in any runtime  group  ,  I have used  T1 runtime group.

I want refresh topic. 

My configuration : 
Rack UR5213
Slot 1 : CPU 551
Slot 2 : CPU 551
Slot 13 : SP500
Slot 17 : CP50M1  (Profibus)
Slot 21 : CP51M1  (Ethernet)

I configured everything in hardware, also i Add bloks like:
- @MPI (T4)
- @GLOB (T4)
- @TCPIP (T4)
- @PRODP (T4)

- SER (Input address 'MPIP11.01', T2)
- SER (Input address 'ETHP11.01, T2)

The problem is that i can ping the Ethernet card, but when i try connect with CPU I get information "Can not find connection channel" Error: 4222  . I setin PG/PC Interface 'Intel(R) PRO/1000 MT Network Connection.TCPIP.1  <Active>'.

I work on Virtual Machine .

Please about some advice what wrong I do, that i can not connect via Ethernet (via Profibus works)
