I have aquired a PLC from Ebay but now notice it can not be stopped via the keypad and can not be reset from what i see. I just need to blank the system and program. Any thoughts ideas? I have tried the reset program but it didnt work unless i gt something wrong. Any help before i bin it?

I have been able to get into it but im having trouble with the LSC & LWE, im not able to turn this off, the prgram has been erased, and im able to change the IP address. I had a fault with the SD card but this is now resolved Fat32.. 6ed1052-imd08-obao

You probably mean a 6ED1052-1MD08-0BA0. Have you checked on the display whether it is in admin mode? The default password is "LOGO", unless it has been changed. Then the entire Logo menu should be available.

So Im not able to get rid of - or change the LSW it looks for the password all the time which is simply LOGO.. I tried putting it in Admin cleared the program and passwords but this part remains. I can only see it properly if i use the Siemens program for logo 8.3, if i go to the section that has this part on line the boxes are greyed out with a tick.

I wondered if i can upgrade the firmware or re-install the firmware to clear it out?

I can upload the program so this works but this one part remains any thoughts?
