As from TIA V21, it is possible to link discret alarms to integer variables ((U)SInt, (U)Int, (U)DInt, (U)Lint).

As from TIA V21, it is also possible to see all alarms with longer texts automatically wrapped and fully visible simultaneously

TIP:

• To show wrapped lines it is necessary to click in the "Show current" button and after that click on one (any) alarm line.

As from TIA V21, it is possible to export the alarms data file with a system function, ExportAlarmLog.

TIP:

• It is possible to export the all log or a filtered log. For export all log, just doesn’t use “Date from” and “Time range” parameters. In practical terms, it might be easier to export everything and then apply the filters in an external tool (Excel, for example).
• If you wish to filter, both parameters Date from” and “Time range” should be used together (if you miss one of them or set it to zero, it causes an execution error).
  • Date from (optional) - Use UTC Time (!!!)
  • Time range (optional) Time interval from the start date, can be positive or negative. Unit = Seconds (time range = 0 leaves to an export error). Despite the documentation talk about integer, I test with Lint and it works…
• It is also possible to read the execution status reading the optional “Processing status” parameter

 2 = Function is being executed.

 4 = Function successfully executed.

12 = Function was canceled.
