Syncronism between 2 MMC using Profibus

Survive Posts: 26 Rating: (0)	Hi Folks, I'd like to know if is possible (works good) to make syncronism (Cam Function - F01) between two Masterdrive Motion Control using Profibus (12 Mbps) to transfer datas between both. If is it possible,are there difficulties or problems (delays, less speed communication) ? I want to make a syncronism with two MMC, moving a vertical and a horizontal axis, like an interpolation. I'm using a CPU 317-2DP to control the drives. Thanks in advance and best regards, Survive

Of course it is essential for a good synchronism that the DP cycle time should not be too high (3,2 ms or lower is recommended). Attached a basic application and a manual.
