Is there a specific setting to be done with Edge to allow the certificate?

The access to the server with chrome and Edge is not working with the following message: ERR_SSL_SERVER_CERT_BAD_FORMAT But it works with Internet Explorer Is there a specific setting to be done with Edge to allow the certificate? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Split from no server connection TIA-Updater/TIA-Administrator/Server Configuration Tool.

Is there a Siemens FAQ about which browser to use for TIA Admin / Updater? Why are you using a browser? Are you launching TIA Updater or TIA Admin manually, or attempting to reach the Siemens update servers manually in a browser? I also installed the latest version of TIA Admin (1.0 SP7), but the problem remain. I'm using Windows10 as operating system. Until now I could work around using Internet Explorer, instead of Edge. But for a few weeks Microsoft has definitively 'discontinued' Internet Explorer, so now there is no way to make it work (if I try to run Internet Explorer, it automatically switches on Edge...). You can find it in settings>default browser under “Internet Explorer compatibility” section, turn on the “Allow sites to be reloaded in Internet Explorer mode”. After that add the url "https://localhost:8888/" to Sites in IE Mode. Works fine for me! You have to start TIA Administrator with Microsoft Edge for that. best regards from germany

(see attache image) A few days ago I received the TIA V18 update. In this version I found a "TIA Administrator V2". Confident it had fixed the problem, but to my surprise, nothing has changed! Even the InternetExplorer solution gives me the same result... blank page It is not possible that there is no official response from Siemens regarding the problem. This has been known for several months now. Apparently I'm not the only one having this kind of problem. In my company we are several people using the TIA Portal, and the problem exists on all PCs. TIA Administrator V2 still the same "ERR_SSL_SERVER_CERT_BAD_FORMAT". Edge in compability mode used to work but not any more. Unbelievable! Ahti

I find that TLS 1.2 should be checked, and all other TLS should be unchecked. And all SSL's should be unchecked unless you want to be vulnerable to security exploits (last thing I heard anyway). My PC uses a Windows 10 pro updated with the latest version. I found this topic the help me to solve the issue with a Short-term remedy by using FireFox. It seems that the problem is linked to the last version of Windows and also the regional parameter. Best regards.
