Идентификатор у всех MB_CLIENT будет получен так же, как и один экземпляр. Может использоваться один параметр подключения для одного устройства. Нам удалось выполнить такой быстрый способ опроса сегментированных данных (10 МБ_CLIENT), около 100 Word и около 300 Bool, в разных местах памяти, за 1 секунду или около того.

I have been working on a few Modbus applications recently (RTU and TCPIP) and have been thinking what is the best method for reading and writing from multiple areas of a single or multiple slaves. I find that in a lot of cases the required data is in different areas of the modbus register table and also in different formats, bool, int real etc. This means that I may need to read 3 ints from 40001 to 40003 and 2 reals from 40049, and write to address 40089 for example. However the client/master block have a start address and how many subsequent addresses to access. I have played with using 1 client/master block and an array of commands where the array index changes the address, length and read/write mode with good success but it can get a little busy to diagnose. I have also seen an application recently where the engineer used one instance of the TCPIP client block called repeatedly but with different addresses, mode, length but with the same instance, this is easier to diagnose and he says this works for him but based on what I see during a test today I am not sure. I think it is a good conversation to have as I think there are multiple ways to do this. JT
