Tranfering-problem Portable PC --> Logo

Import-User-1 Posts: 3609 Rating: (29)	We like to transfer our modified program into the LOGO! 24RC ( 6ED1 052-1HB00-OBA4)with an portable PC on the workfloor. We use Logo Soft Comfort V4. Our portable PC has not a seriel port RS232. We bought a PCMCIA-card with a connection for RS232. Connected we have COM4 as port, by clicking the button to transfer our program we get a error "You must use the newest software". We updated also the latest update at your site, but transfering isn't possible. With an ordinary PC with a RS232 port we have NO problem. But a whole PC to the workfloor is a little bit unproffesionel. Please help us out Johan

As your PC has no serial port, the only alternativ solution is to use a USB/serial converter. In Internet are two USB/serial converters described, which work with LOGO!.
