DT to String

Hi Friends

I needed to convert DATE_AND_TIME to STRING and after many searches I could not find a complete source for that. So I decide to Write one!

I attached the code that tested and working on Step7 v5.5 SP3 in SCL language. I Hope it helps Someone.

I saw your post and wrote my own version. I did not post because there was a time delay. Pleas have a look and comment. I was surprised at how different approaches can accomplish the same result.

I've read your code and I should say that two minds always works better than one!

There is one big different between our codes. The purpose! in your code I see that you converted the CPU time to different strings, one for date and one for time. In my code the purpose was to get a date and time variable, (it was not CPU time) and convert it to one complete string for showing in HMI.

I think someone else may edit or combine both codes for another purpose. 

As a suggestion, extracting weekday and adding it to the string may be a good practice.
