You can stop the PLC, then eject the memory card. Oh yeah, flip up the front-panel display of the s7-1500 to see the memory card slot where the memory card goes. In any s7-1500 that's been running, it's generally likely to have a memory card installed. New in box - never. Refurb - rarely. From an in-house dead project or system being repurposed - hit or miss.
