Arunakat1 Posts: 217 Rating: (52)	Hi again, To my knowledge it is not possible profibus communication with Logo. But you can use your logo as an ASI slave with CP or insterbus(KNX/EIB) CP for logo communication. Switch to logo conference and you will fiend and answer. Best regards.

UMENCHO Diamond Member Joined: 3/21/2006 Last visit: 11/1/2024 Posts: 10229 Rating: (1181)	Hello Veera, Look at AS-Interface networks In S7-200 you'll need CP243-2 or DP/AS-I Link 20 E and in LOGO side CM ASi interface. Be careful LOGO! CM AS-interface expansion module needs 4 inputs and 4 outputs of the LOGO! address area. Hope this will helps. Best regards Hristo Mihalev

LOGO!Barbarian Posts: 173 Rating: (95)	Hallo all those wanting Profibus on a poor little LOGO! Only way to do it is LOGO! + EIB/KNX module and then EIB to Profibus gateway from a 3rd party supplier. I do not know if the ET (Electrical Installation Technology) division of Siemens has such a device, but I know that they exist for building automation networks to get EIB/KNX busses onto Profibus (or the other way around). This would be a very expensive solution for Profibus with LOGO! The ASi bus to Profibus solution is not the best because a LOGO! on ASi only acts like an ASi slave with 4 digital inputs and 4 digital outputs. At least with EIB to Profibus, there is a chance of passing some analog values and doing some control - I think ?!?!?! Just my ideas at this time, nothing definite!
