I just updated my 200SP CPU (1514SP 2-PN) to the latest firmware (3.1) and am using TIA Portal v19. I changed the user security to use the newer model and defined Project level users in the project. After downloading the new hardware configuration to the PLC, I can't log in using the configured user. Either I mistyped the PLC (twice!) or something is wrong in the role configuration. Now I can no long access or download to the PLC to correct this. Is there a way to reset the PLC to factory settings using the memory card? Note that this is in a lab setting, and not a production setting. Per the attached screenshot, I should use the "Project user" login using the "admin user" username, right? Thanks. UPDATE: Solved myself (RTFM ) by following the instructions on Page 298/299 of the following manual: https://cache.industry.siemens.com/dl/files/293/58649293/att_913853/v3/et200sp_system_manual_en-US_en-US.pdf Use the mode selector switch to set to MRES without a memory card. I reloaded my program to the Program card from TIA Portal and re-inserted into the PLC. |
